Afternoon

The diagnostic light on my 51 plate slk came on last friday and i have since noticed that the car is losing power.

its a 2litre kompressor and is very sluggish the last few days even when im in 1st, 2nd, and third gear!!!

Any1 else had this issue??

If the diagnostic light is on, then you need to take it to be put onto a STAR diagnostics machine.

That will tell you what's up with it..

Yes, or an indy (independant specialist) if you have one nearby.

Whereabouts are you?

I would think that this is where the cam seal has gone allowing oil to travel up the harness, into the MAF , this oil gets burnt and fouls the O2 sensor and this puts the light on.

New loom and seal, a common fault...ECU once washed always OK
