Engine MIL inoperative or indicates a malfunction (8.2.2.2 (g))

Hello I`m Looking to buy Mercedes w205 with mileage around 100000 miles but I`ve noticed that nearly all cars failed on Mot with engine fault which is above, Who knows or who had experience of the same fault ? What can be wrong and why so many cars of this model files on Mot with that fault?

This means that the "check engine light" was on during the MOT.

I would hazard a guess that a significant number of these would have been NoX sensor issues

Prob right. I hav eml on but no detected faults on icarsoft related to eng. Will stick xentry on next dry day. Waiting on a 2nd wheel speed sensor to turn up. Which is an active and repetitive fault To hopefully get rid of abs and stability light.
