Is this just a complaint or do you want to get some help finding out what's wrong with it yourself or somewhere to take it ?

Sorry. Should have been clearer! i wonder where to go from here - how shall i verify if timing chain broke
Do i need to take the hole head to verify pistons and valves are busted..? Do I need to get the engine out. Or can i change head (if pistons and rod are ok..) while motor is in the car... i will have to rely on myself- old car and cant afford to have a shop look at it.. ive done lots on motorbikes.. (but this is different)

thanks for any advice

Thank you all very much for advice and for sharing your experiences. Today i bought a new (old) engine from a dealer. Lets hope it works. I will check cam chain tensioner.. and give it a go - if anyone know a good video tutorial im extremely happy- i found a couple- i am able to lift it, to lower the engine- subframe
