Hi I have a 1993 190 2.0e auto can anyone please tell me what the markers on the temp guage mean? the marker without a number between the 80 and 120... is that 90 or 100? also what is the acceptable operating temp? thanks
I asked the same question a while back and got no answer! I'm guessing the marker indicates 100C.
The normal operating temp of a 190e is 80c in moving traffic give or take a degree or two. In slow or idling traffic expect the gauge to move up pretty quickly to the 100 mark (if thats what it is!). The fan should kick in at about that point.
