Hi,
My mercedes W203 C220CDI wont start. Error code P1617-004. No reaction when you turn on the key in ignition. All controls lamps like glow plug etc turn on and turn off like it should be buy the car wont start. I can turn on the key normal nothing is blocked. Also when I bypass starter motor relay car start normal. After that I done a test drive and automatic transmision works like usual not problem at all. Can some of you have the same problem, and have advice how to sort it? My Star siting niw on drive way almost two weeks and crying

Yes it is. When I bypass starter motor relay, the engine start normal/ sometimes its take a little long but start/ when I take my car for drive , automatic transmission works perfect, change the gear up and down without any issues. Also I have a error code P1027. Can be a brake pedal switch? When I press the brake pedal I hear something like a click close to selector shifter lever. Another thing is that in the rear some two yellow relays are not working/ R7 and R8/ are they create this epc problem?

Apologize that I answer now but I was really busy at work. If this switch is fail can create this epc error 1617-004? When I press the pedal the stops lamp working fine also I can change the gear. Is ignition give the signal to starter motor by any cable or signal is send straight from the front SAM? When I baypass a starter motor relay the car is start, the information What I have from the program that the starter activate whithout circuit 50. Thank you for every advices

I don't answer any question where is just 'error code 36749046638 what is wrong?' Props now that car info was given good at first post.

Overall W203 in infamous getting water in front sam and that can corroded starter circuit amongst others.
