As some of you may know I am taking a little boy to his funeral on Wednesday in my C-class estate. But I need to know if the parcel shelf in this car is permanently fixed? I can get the seats to go completely flat, that's no issue, but I could do with more room front to back...I should have enough space in the rear, but I could so do with losing the parcel shelf.
It 'looks' like it's actually attached to the back of the rear seat...it has sloping plastic bits which look like they attach it on...but am I missing something simple? Should I be able to just clip it off?
It's not the end of the world if I can't but if I can, then it'll stop me worrying about the overall measurements...
Any ideas?
My car is a C270 cdi avantgarde estate on a second half 54 plate.
