Dear fellow Mercedes users,
I've encountered a persistent issue with the displays in my 2019 180d, and despite previous attention from Mercedes where they claimed they performed a firmware update, the problem has resurfaced intermittently, especially after recent servicing. The problem actually vanished after the "firmware upgrade", but afterr the next service, it started to appear agsin.
Although initially, I hesitated to report the issue as it was sporadic and hard to replicate, the erratic on/off behavior of the center display has become more pronounced in the last few weeks. I've captured this behavior in a short video clip which I'll be sharing shortly (as soon as I manage to upload the movie...)
Before I take my car in for troubleshooting (already booked at Mercedes) , I wanted to reach out to this knowledgeable group to see if anyone has encountered a similar issue or might have insights into what could be causing it. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help and support.
