I have a '01 240C...
Last night the car wouldn't shift up from like 2nd gear, leaving a stop light...so, I pulled over, stopped and turned off the car, waited and cranked back up and everything was ok.
This morning the Engine Light was on!!!! It was even giving a couple of "jerks" while accelerating this morning, as if the Trans was slipping. But I don't know anything about cars...so,
Okay, no panic...just went to get the oil, air filters, radiator fluid exchanged, fuel injection all done at your local Jiffy Lube (that I trust lol).
Now, they ran the test on my car and it says 715, and I know this is INPUT TURBINE SPEED SENSOR.
QUESTION???? What now do I expect to happen? Is this expensive repair?
I also have a GREAT Mercedes repair shop (Westwood Mercedes), to take it in on Monday. But nothing like doing my homework here first!!
