Thanks for the help, do you think that the tyre change in anyway could have caused it

I think low battery can also cause this
Some of the clever lads on here will give you more advice but with me it was the sensor

We do 3-4 wheel speed sensors a week here, we keep 2 sets in stock they're that common, pattern parts don’t work from what we have seen, get it scanned, the ESP units can go down but very rare!

Hi. Could be ill-informed here but I heard that a couple of full left turn and full right turn of the steering wheel can get rid of this - obviously whilst stationary and engine running....??? Nought to lose in trying I suppose.

Hi Cole, are you saying it could be the speed sensors, also do you think the tyre fitters may have touched something when they replaced all the tyres

As Cole - buy genuine.

I once got patten on my w220 - failed after 7 months. Totall rubbish since the originals were 14 years old.

I also had module fail. Expensive.

Code read will point to the sesnor.

Good luck
I doubt very much if that have touched something that they will admit it
You need to get in plugged in a merc specialist and they will find the fault
I was unlucky and damaged the abs module
I got it sorted and the the other sensor broke around 6 months later

Speed sensors are screwed in one end plugged at the other, nowhere near to what is touched at tyre change, unless the tyre mecahnic is throwing the tyre iron about like a monkey.

If something was disloged at tyre change time
it woukd have triggered a fault straight away.
