ESP not available

270cdi 4years old.
While driving on Sunday (dry) the above message appeard on the dash. Pressing the ESP button turns the triangle on and off but the message remains.
Handbook mentions low battery voltage. After standing for a day this measures 12.5 which does not seem too bad .
Any ideas or is it a dealer visit?

You will probably need to take it to a dealer or an indie to have the any fault codes read. Someone else may be along shortly with other ideas.

possible wheel sensor playing up .. these messages sometimes flash up and never come back again..
