Hi everyone,
Advice please. Done nearly 100k miles in our 1999 SL320 and we love her. Just have an issue with the ignition cutting out at certain times (sometimes in the most inconvenient of places!). All parts that could potentially cause the problem have been replaced (Crankcase position sensor etc,) but, she still has the issue. The problem does not automatically cure itself by restarting the engine. You may go up to 10 minutes with the hazards on before she suddenly bursts back into life. The car is regularly serviced at an experienced MB garage (20 miles away as the level of service we receive is excellent) and the engineers are always on their toes when she goes in for service (will she?, won’t she?). I was wondering if any other Super Liecht owners have had a similar problem?
