Cough (embarrasment) I am working on a customers 210 and the ABS and ETS light remain illuminated. Start the engine and warning script (ETS, service) comes up. I have just re disced and padded the car, the fault was there beforehand. I am fitting a new brake switch in the morning hopeing that it will clear up the fault. What is the opinion of the panel?

Between the pair of you we'd have a phenomenal service wouldn't we. :D

Malcolm doing the electrical diagnostics, and Ian doing the *dirty hand* bit.

Really appreciate the input you gents have here :)

Ex (time served) mechanic, but totally clueless now :(

If only there was a place to store this info on these common things, I would write up the complete thing as to the reasons as to why they fail and how they work with all of the side effects.
