Saw this today and nearly tripped over this tangle of charging wire. I think the shop and the Porche driver are equally to blame.

A perfect missed opportunity to trip and claim.

About time we all start carrying cordless angle grinders with us.

he/she should have parked on the pavement .... then you'd have not been able to walk passed & trip! ;)

Used to have a C63...
Got two chimps that do the same here... their cars also cast a shadow across the pavement at night, so you can't see their cable(s) slung across the pavement, upturned at either end... just for a little extra jeopardy!

Your wife has gotta hope that insurance will cover a new neck,
and wheelchair.

Um - don't think you can blame the Porsche driver for anything other than owning the thing. That being said - it has obviously been a very well thought out and applied disaster opportunity for someone!!

I wonder why no one thought of putting the line on a "boom" that swung out OVER the pavement? Maybe too easy a solution OR, they couldn't afford the cost of a bit of rod, hinge and bolts :D

If you lie near the cable take a picture then Just contact my company BlameandClaim.Co.Con.

Then if you could refrain from football and climbing over roofs for a while we will process your claim.

We send complimentary walking sticks and in extreme cases wheelchairs.

We also have method acting consultants on the staff.

If you have actually hurt yourself don't worry we know some Solicitors who deal with that sort of thing.

It's easier than that, just put the charger next to the kerb, leaving the footpath free from trailing cables. That would entail burying the cable under the footpath which would be the sensible way to do it.

But then they'd have to rip up the footpath to do that, thereby creating an even bigger hazard :)

I'm only refering to those people who are blind of course as any "normal human being" should be able to see such a tangled mess of cabling :)

Just the same as any other utility then, gas water electric internet? All buried underground and only a hazard for a day or so, not for evermore.

Save energy and unplug any EVs you see that no one is using ;)
Good idea Greta and open the doors for the homeless whilst your there.

Make sure you don't get any "refugees" sneaking in though its now a criminal offence to house illegal entrants without en-suites and wifi.
