hi,
i have a 220ce w124 1993. the throttle housing buzzes and rattles like crazy and it won't idle properly. i ve had the throttle housing rebuilt( i was told the litttle motor inside it was broken), but on refiting it had the same problem. So 200 quid down!! and none the wiser, or safer at junctions!!!! I have now discovered that if you turn on the ignition or start the engine, then pull out the power plug then plug it back in, it cures it and it runs fine with no odd noises. switch the ignition off and the next time you turn it on..yeah you guessed it, buzzing like a ****** bumble bee!! Going away on wednesday the 21st till the 5th of july so excuse me if i don't reply to any ideas, but if anyone knows whats going on or you have any ideas please let me know. My possible ideas are...ecu, bad earth etc...
Cheers Robbo.

Did you get this sorted ?

As I have had ours re-conned, I suspect by the same outfit, and the outcome is a little problematic too so to speak...
