exhaust amg clk55

the back section of the exhaust on my 230k clk is starting to look a bit worse for wear and i was wondering if i bought a new clk55 amg back box if it would fit directly on i didnt want to go and buy a "boy racer stainless exhaust" but try and keep it as standard as poss the and also hopefully it wont sound as gruff can anyone advise cheeers

Hi,
The AMG exhaust will not be a direct replacement and the back box for the AMG is over £500. MB use to do a AMG style back box for the c class so i imagine they would do one for the CLK but expect to pay in excess of £450 from MB for that.
Euro's did do a performance back box also which was,nt to 'extreme'.

thanks i just wondered as you often see clks made to look like the 55amg even down to the amg back box
