Folks,
I am getting a noise from the drivers footwell area when accelerating in my 2002 e200k.It sounds very like a blown exhaust gasket to me (it's a kind of spluttering) It's only got 40 k on the clock and my mechanic and ihave loked for signs of gas blowing from the manifold and other exhaust joints up front but no joy. We have also tightened all the exhaust nuts in that area - anyone heard or seen this before ?
