Exhaust system for 500SL

Hi There

Can anyone help. I moved to Spain 2 years ago and have a 500SL which I have to convert the plates to Spanish. Therein lies the problem.

The exhaust tube from the manifold on one side has broken at the flange and obviously emitting noise and fumes. So I need ot replace it - but nowhere in Spain can I find anyone who can get the part for me. Even MB themselves here seem not to be able to get them (or reluctant to even try)

So if anyone can even a part number for one or point me to somewhere where I can buy one (new or second hand I am not fussed) - I would be truly grateful.

Why not contact Mercedes in Germany? Being in Spain, a trip to Germany to collect presumably wouldn't be out of the question. Presumably the Spanish dealers you've spoken to just aren't being helpful?
