Getting a slight blow coming from centre of car, took it down to Local exhaust place, got it on the ramp, said its got a slight blow from the 2nd cat,..they said the middle cats need replacing to, which have 2 on them, but there is nothing wrong with them, its just the clamp that needs changing, They do not supply the parts and said its a main dealer part?

Any one know where i could get hold of the second cat, its not the one that comes from the manifold, its the next one,

Any good garages around west midlands/Coventry?

There's a place called "custom Chrome LTD! that is not far from me, was thinking if have the second cat removed, and have a pipe made from 1st cat joining to the 3/4 cat, leaving out the 2nd cat all together?

Would this affect the Mot?

I was worried about the MOT too....after I had the CAT fitted! Doh!

I had the front CAT removed and replaced with a 200 cell Sports CAT.

The MOT was fine.. but, reading the print-out of the results, it was close to the limit.

My advice is to take it for a half hour drive or so before going to the MOT. This will give the CAT time to warm up enabling the Platinum to do it's job.

Where did you get your 200 cell sports cat from?.. At the moment, My exhaust system even with the Quad back pipes sound quiet,

yeah i know them, what last i heard they are going bust......

torque flow can supply the 200 cell cat and i know someone who will pass your car if you have no cats, but no cats will make it loud!!

Got it fixed yesterday, mate got it on the ramp, got the second cat off, and had it welded up, replaced the clamps, all back on, sorted for £90.. really happy with that, better than paying Hundreds of pounds replacing it
