Can't see it making any difference. There are more than a few idiots on motorbikes too.Can it be right I pay for his incompetence - perhaps if you want to drive a car over 300 BHP, you should have to have passed your motorbike test?
I personally have never felt the need or desire to climb onto an engine on wheels with a couple of gallons of fuel strapped between my legs. I decided many years ago to learn how to drive a car by actually driving one in anger, spending several years in Motorsport on gravel and tarmac surfaces going as quickly as possible. If you can't learn both car control and anticipation doing that you shouldn't drive anything faster than a moped.
Do I get it wrong from time to time? Yes because it's not always obvious something is amiss till you get there. The trick then is recovering it without harm.
Whilst riding a bike teaches anticipation it does nothing to teach how to recover a 2 ton lump of steel that's suddenly developed a mind of its own before it collects someone or something else. When it's gone wrong on a bike you're past the point of recovery.
If you want to set criteria for being permitted to drive high powered vehicles then do it in the basis of proven experience and proven capability in a car.
