External temperature sensor location.

Hi Chaps, Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where to find the external temperature sensor on a 57 CLS AMG 63. Please bear in mind I know it is suppose to live behind the lower grill in the front bumper but despite removing this grill and the both fog lights could not locate the damn thing. Thanks all.

It actually protrudes from the grille, a tiny black plastic probe.
Often they get knocked back, and fall behind the bumper, still connected.
