Extras & accuracy of on board computer

Sometime ago I asked about what extras would you folks suggest having on a Merc.
I had various answers but they fired a few thoughts as to what were the useful options. In the end had to take what I could find!!!
Well I took the plunge about a month ago & bought a 53reg – 04 C270 cdi auto SE – 35K silver est, Elegance. Now my trustworthy 98’ 250td sport est is waiting for a buyer!
Bought from Parkside motors Uxbridge – they were great not a bit pushy and even let me call the previous owner on the V5! Which for me was a major plus!
Extras included leather, sunroof, auto headlights, rain sensor wipers, headlight wash, electric memory drivers seat, folding mirrors, Thermatic air con, vanity mirrors illuminated, auto dimming rear mirror, integrated phone (no phone!) (No sat nav -probably some of these are standard anyway?)
Since I had the car it has been to Reims (F) - Spa (B) and last w/e to Wales. Yes I like it esp acceleration 50 to 80 mph!
QUESTION
How accurate are the computer mpg readings????? Last weekend got as high as 46.5 mpg on the computer with 70/75 mph on M4 – I must say that seeing the mpg readings concentrates the mind about driving style!!!

most people reckon it's not that accurate. Take it really easy and you'll do even better. Mine almost made 48 and a long run once.
If you have an integrated phone, you should be able to pick up a cradle - assuming its the UHI system. Check ebay.

i love cruise control, having a merc and driving it is wonderful, but having cruise control makes it that bit sweeter.

Mioba, one day you must try Distronic, it makes cruise control a deam, when I am in your neck of the woods, you can try it.
