What are your thoughts on this.
I for one think that Mosely's ego trip could do irreperable damage to F1,which is a shame when the last round of changes did so much good for it.
Lets be honest,it's won't be difficult to get around-you just set up an independant developement company who then sell you their engineering solutions for a pittance, you make your staff redundant so that your technical partners (formerly known as sponsors) can re-employ them & then loan them to you & so on.The net result of all this chicanery is that you are pretty much as you were, but can now run flexible rear wings & go back to in season testing!
I'm all in favour of cost controls, but there needs to be a sense of realism too.£40 million doesn't run a premiership football club.
If Ferrari,Renault,Toyota & Red Bull do pull out what would be the point of Mercedes remaining? Then where are your engines coming from?
What we have at the moment is a game of bluff, but history shows that this can be just the first stage in all out war.
Personally I think that it's time for Mosely to sit down & reach a compromise.

I like the idea. there has to be a budget cap of some description??? i dont know how they could implement it?

It can be fair that teams can spend upward of £200 million and expect teams starting out to compete. If Ferrari want to go i say let them, you cant have teams dictating rules that suit themselves... Imagen if Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs demanded a larger cut of the premier pie because they are from london and expenses are higher than in newcastle (i know they are relegated now!!) so it costs more for players to live, train and test!!!

Ferrari need to grow up and sort this season out before whining about next!

I think the smaller teams go in with the knowledge that others have more money to spend and lets face it, there are smaller budget teams with more points than the big boys. The changes this season have made it more interesting to watch. Why fix something that is not broken.

Im not really sure about the F1 anymore.....

I kinda like these new cars, and i kinda dont at the same time...

I think what i like best, is its giving the little guys a chance to show there true colours!

Budget caps are decent ideas i spose, but like the original poster says, they will just chuck all there staff out, there sponsers will take on the staff, thus giving the teams more money.... So whats the point in capping it in the first place?

Budget Caps, load of rubbish in my opinon. F1 use to be the best cars, the best drivers, the latest techo development (we all have ABS, crash cells and excellent tyres plus loads more stuff on our cars that came from F1).
I've been a fan for many years, I say give them back the 3.0L V12, ground skirts, extra wide slick tyres and RAF Flight suits and watch the ****** things fly.
