can anyone tell me the facelift year on the clk 230...kind regards.

Hello Rob, cant give the year but the first version of the clk230K was a 208 347 followed by the 348. the last two were the 208 447 and 448 being the last, may help a little

sorry malcolm...are these part of vin code numbers that state which year ?thanks.

This part of the Vin, the numbers that follow the 208 indicate mods so I think you are safe to say that the 347 to the 348 were small mods, the change or face lift would be the 447 and the last of the serries being the 448.

With those number you can be sure that the car is,what it is and you cant get fobbed off with an old model, registered late. I would recommend any one buying a car to use the 3 numbers that follow the model code.
