Hello its a mercedes 190e 2.3-16v the temperature rises above 100c and the fan doesnt kick in as the water reaches boiling point in the water tank its starts to gush out bubbling, ive replaced the fan switch still not working, checked all power going to wires on the switch they seem all ok, checked fuse's ther ok , i even thought it might be a air lock drained all water filled it up runned the engine until temperature well over 100c but still fan not working also directed the fan it works fine its just when i connect it up to the switch nothing!
Also could sum1 tell me wat the sensor next to the fan switch is ? its in inbetween the temperature gauge sensor and fan switch its got 2 connections to it.

cheers :(
