Odd day to register a vehicle. On day later it would be a 1952!

It's the 2 litre version.
Top speed 73mph and 0-60 in 29.7 seconds!
They did a 2.9 as well... 6 cylinders, top speed 81 and 9-60 in 21 seconds.
An SL500 beats both for fuel consumption - 25mpg and 18.6 respectively!!
It has a Scottish number plate which on that age car typically denotes that the original plate has been sold. The DVLA will reissue an age relevant plate and because so few were registered in Scotchland originally there are many available for reissue.I think it's worth someone's time and energy. I can't put a financial value on it, I don't have the knowledge of the market. The number plate alone is worth £1500. I hope it stays on the car.

Just been looking on eBay - they don't go for much even pristine.
Hmmmm.....
I think If I were to get one (which if I'm brutally honest is unlikely as much as I would like one) it would have to be LHD.That's interesting. There are a few of those around here.
