fault codes

just a quick question,after a repair do the fault codes need wiping.ive done a few diy repairs and wonder if the stoted fault codes will cause me probs?thanks

You will be safe but it is best to erase them so when you have problems in the future it may not be clear which codes are old and which are new.

The only exception is the R230 range of cars where fault codes come up faster than you can remove them :D:D
