Faulty Sat Nav 2016 E Class W213

I have a Mercedes E220d Estate W213 & the satellite navigation system has not been working for a few weeks. Currently thinks it is 1300 feet below sea level near Stuttgart (I live approximately 200 feet above sea level in Shropshire ), but at the same time it can see 12 satellites. I really don’t want to take the car to main dealer with their expensive hourly rates. I was wondering if anybody else on this forum has had a similar problem, and if there are any fixes that I could carry out? Thanks very much, David.

Faulty antenna, had the same issue with mine a few years back. Once replaced all was sorted. Can’t tell you the cost, as mine was replaced under warranty.
