Filters and box

Hello all, just a few small queries about my W211 E200 2003. Where can i locate the pollen filter and also the petrol filter. Also i'm having some trouble with the auto box [surprise, surprise]- when i'm slowing down to say turn a corner and the box is dropping down the 'gears' , when i go to accelerate again there is a slight lag and then the box lurches and then continues normally. Re the box,,do check the fluid levels. what is the mileage of the car, the fluid and filter should be changed every 40k miles and I doubt if it has been changed

You can use a length of curtain wire,,it should measure 5.7 cm when the box is hot
