Arrived to Bremen on Monday night and on Tuesday morning I finally had a meeting with the new car.

The experience of the Factory Collection together with the excitement of being able to drive it back to the UK is very very good.

I am very pleased and the car goes like a train. Avg 44 mpg.

Whilst there was nothing wong with your previous cars, in fact they were above average, here you are in the top of the estates, its done that little bit better, a little more refined, silky smooth, when you lock it it just goes, phut and not a clonk

Thank you for putting your story up, I know people that have made the journey to Bremen. Remember you cant park it in Tesco's, and good luck with it.

Sorry, no pics allowed in the factory. But it for sure was very nice to have seen the birthplace of the car. It's just amazing how they put it all together.

Best of all, I was the only one for the english tour..... so had a bit of a private tour.

Anyway, the Volvo(s) were very good cars, no doubt. But the MB is better. It's the difference between german and other car makers engineering. Faultless. It's also very quiet at speeds. I could go on and on and on about how good it is, but I think it speaks for itself.

The only hickup on my trip was the fact that the plane ex Heathrow had a fault and I almost missed my connection in Frankfurt. Everything else went perfect. Pity the weather was bad though. Rain the whole back to UK.

The Nav worked flawless as well. Not even once did it have a problem.
