Finding my mercedes?

Hi Everyone> I am looking for advice really. Having been heavily into volkswagens for the past 15 years or so, I have been recently looking for another obsession. and i have found a 1964 220se. she looks fab the thing is i dont have the foggiest about their quirks or faults (if any). can anyone point me in the right direction please thankyou.

I do not think that anyone hear will be of much help, I have never seen a 220 question on this forum.
