Finding W123 paint code

Hello,
I've read a few other posts on this and expected to find the paint code for my blue W123 200 on one of the panels under the bonnet. I looked at a page that contained all the paint codes which had all the blues as 3 digit numbers starting 3xx
The plate with the VIN number on only contains that and weight figures. There is another plate to the right of that with many different series of numbers on it but no 3 digit series beginning with "3"
Can anyone help me here?
Also, where can you buy paint for old mercs?

I used to work for MB in London. If you where to give your local MB dealer a call with your chassis number they should be able to print off the data card for your vehicle. This info includes your paint code. As for paint, I was able to purchase some spray cans from MB, I had to wait for them to come in from Germany, but nothing like having the original stuff !
