fire extinguisher - w202

Hi all,

I am a newbie, just bought a 2000 C200 sport estate auto.

the manual states it has a fire extinguisher under one of the front seats - but it does not appear to be there - was it an option, or am i being blind?

anyone got any tips on ownership of the car?

Hi steve,, the fire extinguisher was an option on all MB cars, there are lots of members with the 202 a very popular sar

Not on mine in 97, it came later after some Merc cars caught fire because someone forgot to look after the coolant in the radiator or was it compulsory in Germany for all cars after 2000.

If you wanted to fit one I would,nt think they were too expensive, even from MB.
