Had the W211 now 3 weeks ...

I bought it to run as a "opt out" company car ...so it's a tool rather than a toy

It's big ... 200mm longer than my last car but feels 2000 when you try to put it into a parking space.
Smooth & quiet ... never doubted that for a minute - the auto changes are just sublime
Economy is storming considering its size and weight. A 100 mile run on busy motorway (so speed was generally 65-70) returned 51mpg.

and ... the company is paying for it ....

Pretty pleased :D :D

I've had mine a similar length of time, what engine/trim do you have?

To help your parking, if you don't already have them, you could always get some retro-fit park sensors off E-Bay, From other threads they seem to be easy enough to fit and do the job.

SLK's 2, CLK320 Cabriolet.

It's a good job they don't make bikes - you would be wizzing round loch lomond, overtaking the tourists - suddenly a £1200 bit of electronics that probably controlled your "lean to road angle" or some other really technical gizzmo, would decide it's time it retired - and you would splutter or grind to a halt - and all the tourists you just passed would drive past and point  leave the bikes to the japanese - they do it better already. :) :)

You should see some of the issues with the latest "single wire" BMW bikes....

but not a stylishly as the British, now on my second Triumph, still prefer them to the many Japanese bikes I've owned in the past. :p :p :p :p
