Hi ...\I am also considering buying my first Merc.
Quick question.....You mentioned a Buyers Guide in your thread. Do you mind sharing the info with me? Would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Like Amazon, I am wondering if there is a Buyer's Guide section that I have missed. Also, I live in South Manchester - do Greenvale sell used MB's? I see they are in Worsley (not far from me), but don't have a web-site and I don't recall seeing their adverts anywhere.

Amazon - Honest John (Daily Telegraph) has quite a good guide on the Car by Car breakdown section

http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/home/index.htm

I also use Parkers used reviews
http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/reviews/

and http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/used_car.html

and http://www.carsurvey.org/

Peach or Lemon are good but you have to register:

i don't think there is anything as formal as a buyers guide on here. I haven't seen one. Always better to say waht you are looking to buy and folk will give pointers.

on the note of greenvale merc, not sure the sell cars but there service is second to none and i would highly recommend them. they have a customer for life with me now. i would post their phone number but im not sure if that is allowed
