Never even crossed my mind - how silly of me-did anyone else spot this?

Went to fill up with fuel - diesel nozzle does not fit into tank as the diesel nozzle is larger than the petrol-ha ha- Had to use a funnell:Oops:

Oops.

If it's any consolation, I use a funnel all the time, it's the only way to get the chip fat in. :D

I will have to alter it as I dont want to drive round with a smelly funnel in the boot, or poke the slap down every time I need to fill up.

I am going to cut the filler neck off of a diesel tank and fit it to my 129 petrol tank. That's my next project

When its done I would be interested in some more accurate MPG checks if you post them can them -IE cruising on motoway at 70--and gently at low revs on a run and also thrashing it a bit ?

Well done on the filler neck transplant Brian. Can't imagine you'll use it that much though!;)

Could you recommend this transplant in mine?
