Fitting a radar detector - Where to find power?

Hi everyboby

I am thinking of fitting a Valentine One to my new shape 320 CLK, and I need some advice on how best to do it without having wires dangling down to the cigar lighter.  Ideally I want to hard wire it into the electrical system somewhere.

Any advice gratefully received.

I don't know the vehicle, but the easiest way with that sort of thing is usually to tap into the ignition and ground leads into the radio. They tend to be the most accessible sources. However, someone may come up with a more elegant approach. If you don't get any luck on here, try www.*****.co.uk.
