fitting facelift bumper trim

Hi,
Want to fit later bumpers on my car (W202) early and late bumpers look the same apart from the very bottom and the later cars have a lip spoiler thing both front and rear. This lower part appears to be removeable and i could straight swap for the later items.
Anybody know?

Just done this mod on mine.
The complete bumper has to be changed. This should take no more than 30mins, off and on with the new.
Unfortunately the bumpers parts are not interchangeable between early and later types.

Thanks for the reply, so apart from the visible parts of the bumper what else underneath has to be changed if anything as i,ve read somewhere that you have to replace the front splash panels in the wheel archs

Didn't change a thing on mine.
I also changed the lights for the later models type, this required the colour trims underneath the light to be changed as well.
