I need to check out the flasher switch contacts on my 190E. Can anyone explain the removal procedure of the steering wheel. Has the cental screw got to be removed?

Thank you Malcolm. The central screw is very difficult. I wondered if the switch could be got at without removing it?

No chance, the screw has to come out, if you can get hold of an impact driver that should do it, why not ask a garage to loosen it for you.
