flashing breaklight with right indicator

Hi all, new to the forum.

I have an issue regarding a flashing right breaklight if I indicate right. Left side is fine with no issues. It is a 2004 109. Any help would be appreciated.

Bad earth on the light pull holder out & try cleaning it with a soft e wire brush or wire wool

Yes as above, there is a modified wiring harness for this, or you could add another earthing ground wire to the lamp

Just a quick update on this issue. Tonight while driving with the lights on, indicating Right makes the both indicator lights flash as well as the right brake light. Will check over the earth issue tomorrow in daylight. Thanks for the suggestions to try guys.

Without doubt this is the problem as now the lamp is grounding via others.

It's the earth, clean it up, copperslip on reasembly, add an extra earth.

Hello and welcome eh

It is an earthing issue as per recommendations above. If you take your light unit out you might see damaged/burnt out connections as they can be under-specified from new.
