Flashing hazards

Hi, on 2 occasions during work I have had colleagues tell me that my hazard are flashing rapidly, by the time I have arrived they have stopped
A class, 176, 2014, 2143cc
Can anybody shine some flashing lights on the situation

Usually a sign that the alarm siren had failed and is in need of replacing, the internal batteries leak and then corrode the circuit board meaning you get no sound and the flashing lights like it’s going off.
Really best to get it check in STAR though as it could be other things like water getting into a SAM from blocked water drains

Alarm problem likely.
Could be the sounder is goosed, rechargeable cell low and sounder u/s, possibly.

You might try locking car, opening with blade, and see if alarm sounds.
It could be a bug in the car that set off the movement sensor, as I think the indicators flash for a while after the sounder silences.
