flooding my 350 slc

my 78 slc wont start from warm for constantly flooding which is a wee bit rubbish to say the least, i'm thinking it could be the thermo-timer switch, the cold start valve or the warm-up regulator,any suggestions or fixes would be most appreciated.. cheers

Sorry I'm not responding to your problem - I've no idea on that.

I just noticed that you have one of the increasingly rare SLCs and I had a pang of nostalgia - back in the 80s I had an SLC too. We bought a baby seat for the new baby and it linked into the rear belts. Takes me back a bit.

How's yours, aside from the flooding problem?

I always thought they were one of the best. Problem was fuel - about double that needed by the 300ce-24.

hi ray, glad to hear a baby seat fits i have just become in need of one! love this car when its going,beautifully built and a real pleasure to drive,i also think its better proportioned than the convertible but im sure i could get into a few arguments there. However as you say just a touch thirsty, but hey .. cheers
