Is there a cheap way of fixing a folding mirror on a 220? It seems to me that one of the gears inside has some teeth missing. Hopefully I can simply strip the unit and replace the gears rather than purchase a whole new unit from MB.

Not sure on the 220 chassis but I don,t think there are spares available you have to buy a new assembly which is what i did when i had a similar fault with my W202.
