Ok, so I joined the group last week and have enjoyed the craic as well as picking up some valuable knowledge as this is the first MB in my household.
I have found out what the little grey holes are in the rear passenger side panels- for a wind deflector!! I don’t think this car needs additional deflectors but MB obviously does.
Also interested to see how in the main, additional chrome badges are a no no.
So, thought I’d post a pic of the wife’s 220D. Apologies in advance for the AMG badge for you purists!
Am awaiting plenty of abuse

Is it on 20" wheels? Those rims look really close to the ground.

Nice car, a friend of mine has this model in red, and the paint is still shiny

Trouble with the Internet is things get repeated which isn't always the best or correct answer .

Not everyone has fishing line and power has to be run out to the car some might be on the road outside , obviously not the case here .

Best method is spray WD40 at the top of them , leave for a teabreak and then boil a kettle and pour on them , the badges almost fall off .

19” and we keep kerbing the alloys as they protrude further than the rim

Thanks Gazwould,
Took about 6 mins, needed a touch of elbow grease, didn’t quite fall off
