I have a CLC200 59 plate. The footbrake has gone all the way to the floor. What is the setup on my car please? Cable, hydraulic, electric etc? What would have gone and how much would I be looking at roughly please? It goes straight to the floor and rolls back.

I’d expect it’s cable and it’s either snapped or come adrift somewhere in the routing

It does sound like the cable or something along the line has given up. If same as a lot of Mercedes, rear disc's have inboard brake shoes for foot brake (read hand brake on other cars) Are you sure the cable is attached to the foot pedal ?
