The car was manufactured in Stuttgart, Germany in the year 1961 then exported to the United States. The car was then imported to the UK in 1989 and issued with a British Registration Number: VSU696.
Soon after importation the car was been sold to Mr Harris at the Rearsby Garage 1692 / 4 Melton Road, Rearsby, Leicester.
I purchased the car from Mr Harris on the 31-08-1990. Since acquisition much work has been carried out:
New clutch
All new valves
All break system overhauled
New petrol pump
New stainless steel exhausts system
Re-trimming
New tyres
The car has been regularly serviced, well loved, always garaged and rarely used; only exposed to dry weather on the odd Sunday. I am extremely reluctant to get rid of the car because it’s an absolute beauty but hopefully someone can enjoy her as much as I have.
The car is currently garaged in Leicestershire, UK but the car is available to any worldwide buyer. Delivery can be arranged at an extra cost, but collection is preferable.
