Ford Puma ST

As most of you probably know I sold my CLA 35 and ordered a new Puma ST.
I placed the order on 13th February and specified Desert Island Blue paint and Driver Assistance Pack, the latter option being the only way I could get a rear view camera which bizarrely is not standard on any model.
I was advised when placing the order that it could take up to 6 months for my car to be delivered, but I got a call last week from my dealer to say my car has been built and is at Ford's compound in Flushing, Netherlands.
Dealer estimates mid May - early June for delivery, so I will update and post photos when I get it.

I'm sure it will because my expectations are realistically a couple of steps down from my CLA.
It will suit my needs perfectly though, and I get to have another brand new car with £9k left over from the sale of my 15 month old CLA.

Yes Sun Yellow was my first and only colour choice for my CLA...I absolutely loved it!
I do like bold colours and although Mean Green is nice I decided on a bit more subtle colour this time. The ST has a constrasting black roof as standard.
I have noted that you are clued up on the specific colour names though.

P.S. Sun Yellow was previously an AMG exclusive colour, but curiously Mercedes have removed this exclusivety and made it optional on the whole A/CLA range.

Blue....Vauxhall Victor and tvr and 210 Estate
Silver....Mondeo ST and R129
Red...my current SL

Your brother has a curious way of looking at things.
Actually white was my other choice of colour because it does look nice on the ST model with the standard contrasting black roof.

Had an update from my dealer on Thursday to say delivery has been pushed back to early June.
I am not in a rush though, and June actually suits me better.

My car has has arrived at the dealer and I went to have a quick look at it yesterday while it still has all its transit protection on. The photo was taken by my girfriend without my knowledge. In fact it wasnt until later that I found out.
Pick up day is Friday so I have sorted out my insurance in preparation. As some of you may know I have been running around in a 2014 Corsa 1.4 since end of February which I had to renew for the year at beginning of this month. I always pay annually and the premium was £252 so I was expecting to pay a small amount to change to the Puma, but the annual premium has remained exactly the same...and thats with a completely zero excess! This one of the very few times I have ever been pleasantly surprised with car insurance.
I will take some proper photos and post them up at the weekend.

No that won't be happening.
My Mercedes AMG Petronas shirts have seen me from Ford to Honda to Audi to Mercedes, and now back to Ford.

Picked my car up on Friday and all good so far.
Apparently Ford cars do not come with a physical handbook anymore, they are digital only and viewed via the app. While it contains all the same information it will never be as good as a proper handbook.
I took some photos this morning when I went out to pick up a couple of things I had ordered then gave it it's first wash when I got home.
Puma is tucked up in its bed (garage) now and will be sleeping until Friday.

The full fat ST is manual only, but there is a semi skimmed 1 litre auto version with 170PS for the same price.
