Forget it Andy, you will just not ( for some reason) tell me why these "mills" are diffirent, you deffinately think you are superior to some of us (with knowledge yes).
I have found out about these engines through no help of you,I did find help from "accross the pond",they were very helpfull with everything.
Just think about this, that car (infact everything for that matter),we are driving, well rememeber one thing, they all started off with someone somewhere with a so called "hair brained" idea, and they (like me) probably got laughed at.
But one for sure,they/he/she showed a two finger salute to the lot of them and did it,didnt they!,or like I said you/me/ & god know how many others wouldn't be driving/riding/buying what have now, would we!.
And remember this,"the guy who never made a mistake, never made anything",my dad told me that when I was small, and its true!.

Merc.

Remember one thing, Andy doesn't have to help you, or anyone else, nor do any of the rest of us. But Andy, and a couple of other members have patiently answered your banal questions, even when you don't seem willing,  or able to accept the replies.

As your attitude now seems to be one of praising every other Mercedes forum, and criticising this one, and in particular singling Andy out as the butt of your attack, why don't you just clear off to the other forums, and leave us in the peacefull atmosphere that existed prior to your arrival on the scene. After all, you were shown up as a hopeless case by a "Girlie",  in the name of Susie the other day!!............... I rest my case.

Merc,

I am sorry to say to but I have to agree with Dave E and others who have commented on your posts. Firstly, in the case of Susie (and we don't have many female readers of this site I am sure), she was only making a summation of all the posts you have written about your 'bag's of spanners' lol. It is down right rude to take these comments which are the truth and respond to this with a mouthful of filth.

I won't be replying to any more of your posts. If you rejoin the forum with a different login name you will be able to continue to post topics however most of us here will know it's you. I.E. Just bought a 300E 12V and want to fit and 24V top, and electric seat heaters....

Take it easy, and leave our heads alone.

I find the remarks of "Merc", rather out of the spirt of this forum.

I suspect that A lot of knowledgeable people, just like Andy, who do not need to help do.  I presume that you do come out of the UK, and again I find your comments, out of line with the average person, I have met from the UK.

With your attitide, I personally would give you no advice, and I suspect so would many others, or if things went astray, I presume we would be hearing from your lawyers.

If you had one bit of decentness left, you would have the moral courage, to come back and make your peace, with those people who you have offended.  But I doubt if you guts to do so.

I live half way round the world, and yet Andy has gone out of his way, to help me every time I have asked.

Get your act together, and start acting like a man, not a school boy, who takes his ball home, when the rules do not suit.

I have a reply from Merc direct, which he has asked me to post to the board, as he is unable to do so. He appears to have some sort of internet problem.

I now quote, and before I do so, I have carefully read his reply, and it appears that comments were made, in the heat of the moment, instead of calming down, before firing away.  Many people have been faced with repentance, after a harsh word has been said, but by then often it is too late.  I think that Stewart is really sorry, and I will therefore give him the benefit of the doubt.

Stewart says.

Appologies to all!

But all I doid was to ask a simple question, but I got no answers. yes I was very hasty/angry etc, whatever way you want to put it. I was getting nowhere fast< and Dave said about me "praising the other forums, well I did not praise them at all ( well I do not think I did) all I simply said is that I got answers, I was looking for over there and not here, why I do not know.

I would like to apologise to Andy! , I know he does not need to give us advise, but he does through his own kindness, and I really do appreciate that.

I just did not like it all, getting "put down", when I had (as Andy put it) hair brained ideas, In the United States they are not, people do these kind of things all the time.

Yes I do hold my hands up, and aplologose profusely, to any one I have offended, with my last phases, and anyone in general.

I feel as if I have made countless enemies now, and yes it is my own doing. I will have to live with that, but to anyone who has taken the time to read this, you have my unreserved apology.

To those who give afvise and help others (they know who they are), keep up the good work, because every one needs help from time to time.

And yes I went and got my teddy, and I will kick my ball back into the field, once I have blown it up. However I feel as if I have dug my own grave with this site, I will go and put teddy into his prame.

UNQUOTE

Well guys and Ladies, one must take this at face value, and I trust that things can return to normal.

Regards

Like I said above (via Colin),I am deeply sorry for the way I acted,I just hope that people who read it will understand that genuinely mean what I say.
I wonders if this will get sent!.

Just feel I gotta make something clear in the middle of this daftness here chaps.
The Stewart mentioned above is not the same one as me.  I like to think I've not said anything out of turn on this forum (except maybe owning up to being a one-time caravanner and giving towing advice, sorry Andy).
