Found broken engine component-any ideas

Good night all

When I was servicing my 2002 Mercedes Classic 220 CDI I noticed a broken piece of engine in the bottom engine cover.

The part is pictured in the attached photo. The text written on the part is 75 then there is a Picture of 3 circles then 01W 11.

Anyone know what is broken and if it is important?

This looks like part of an exhaust spring clamp. They are usually fitted between the turbo, cat and front pipe of a diesel engine, depending on model.

Have checked bonnet latch, this seems OK so it looks as though it might be part of an exhaust spring clamp. Will try and check tomorrow evening.

Yep, looks a bit too heavy to me for the bonnet latch.

Yes it is a broken part of exhaust clamp, either from the turbo to the Kat or from the Kat to the fron exhaust section
