Filling up at TOTAL now gives you more than just a tankful of fuel. We're giving you the option of FREE 14 day breakdown cover whenever you fill up with 30 litres of fuel (or 10 litres if you ride a motorcycle).

Your policy will protect you whether you have car trouble when you're out and about in the UK or when you're at home. It also includes recovery of your vehicle if the breakdown assistance team can't repair your car. And all of this is free for two weeks.

Of course your free cover could last a lot longer. Simply fill up again with another 30 litres of fuel to benefit from a further two weeks of cover.

All you need to do is visit any participating TOTAL Service Station and fill up with at least 30 litres of fuel (again, 10 litres for motorcycles). Use our handy Station Finder to locate your nearest TOTAL

Free breakdown if you buy expensive fuel

This deal is not a deal for us E Class drivers. If I fill up at Total it costs me nearly two quid a tank more than filling up at Morrisons (where I get 5 quid off after 4 tanks)....then after 2 months of cheaper fuel I can afford decent breakdown cover with proper mechanic patrols at AA rather than relying on cowboys who may or may not turn up. I dont think so.

So the AA and their subcontractors that seem to do 99% of the work aren't cowboys? They're not going to leave 5 people one of which in his late 60's stranded in the pooring rain in pitch darkness on a busy road for 8 and a half hours then?

That's good to know.
