ABS , ESP, Run Flat unavailable , Active Light System Currently Unavailable ,these are the messages that come up on the center dial on the dash , Power Steering goes inactive steering wheel , goes firm when ABS light comes on, when I reset the fault it is ok for about 200 meters and then every thing reverts , another message was Left Hand ABS sensor faulty so I changed it for a new Delfi one but still comes up with all the same faults so I am going to try another new sensor , does anyone out there know how to fix , I watched a lot on you tube and this field is a bit of trail error , a black art

Hi,

Certainly sounds like a speed censor problem.. I would use an MB part as opposed to a third party one, even though most are made by the third parties..
Failing that, before you begin to replace lots of bits, far better to get the fault codes read by someone with the right diagnostic equipment..

Sounds like you need someone with STAR to diagnose the issue.

Mercedes are notorious for throwing up all sorts of faults if the batteries are weak so worth a check.

Failing that listen to someone who knows what they are talking about.
